Southwestern Bell Corporation,Update Magazine illustration by John Dyess

I decided to create a three dimensional montage image of items mentioned in the business article in the trade magazine Update published by Southwestern Bell Corporation.Since this article was about world countertrade and was titled Where square pegs fit round holes I decided to show the world as a square block going into a round hole with stars in the hole. The article talked about McDonald Douglas fighter planes and Guatemalan honey. The art director was Al Landholt ,who was one of my favorite art directors I worked with over the years of my career as an illustrator.
