I was excited to receive the good news today that my entry of a series of four illustration I had created for the National Geographic Museum “Monsterfish” Exhibit in Washington D.C. were accepted into the Communication Arts Magazine 57th Illustration Annual Competition. Of the 3,973 entries only 167 were accepted ,representing the work of 145 artists, making the illustration Annual the most exclusive major Illustration competition in the world. Below are the four illustrations that were printed on acrylic panel 4’wide x 8″ high, with my black ink drawing printed on the front and color created in photoshop printed on the back side. The panel was back lite.I went to the opening in Washington D.C. in March of 2015 in Washington D.C. I enjoyed working with Senior Graphic Designer Patrick Truby.
