I’ve posted two illustrations that I did in the 1990’s for a magazine titled Mature Living, published by LifeWay Press. This illustration was for a story titled “Harvest Home” and was about a father and daughter in America during the late 1800’s. The story had a Thanksgiving theme . I hired models and rented costumes for this oil on canvas painting.

This is another illustration for Mature Living magazine that was painted in the 1990’s. This illustration was for a story titled “Bushels of Love”, which was about a father and daughter planting a Victory Garden during World War Two. The daughters husband was a soldier that was overseas.Models were hired and costumes rented to be used for photo reference for this painting. Painting was oil on canvas. To me this painting also has a Thanksgiving theme.
